Overview

The Endicia/stamps.com Sales Operations Specialist supports the sales organization by collecting, analyzing, and disseminating sales related data and by managing key back office revenue related processes.

 

Endicia's Sales Operations team supports the Sales representatives with assisting the development and implementation of operational strategy, reporting, automation, field needs, channel requirements and annual conference.

Responsibilities

Primary Objectives:  

  1. Assist sales management in the collection and reporting of data related to sales trends, channel reporting, pricing, performance metrics and other data driven requirements that enable the team to exceed revenue goals.
  2. Manage Invoice and API agreements.
  3. Ad hoc reports requests as needed.
  4. Manage sales and channel partner email communications.
  5. Track team cadence metrics.

Essential Position Duties (typical monthly, weekly, daily tasks):

  1. Reporting:
    • Sales trends, pricing, revenue performance metrics, product performance and other sales-related statistics that drive sales.
    • Pull data and manage sales leader monthly performance reports.
    • Respond to and manage channel reporting needs.
    • Ad hoc report requests as desired.
  2. Support the Account Management Team’s data needs.
    • Generate and validate month close reports
    • Generate and validate commissions and credit reports.
    • Generate and validate Exceptions/Corrections reports.
  3. Manage Invoice and API needs.
    • Work with cross functional team to process client Invoice requests and API agreements.
  4. Monitor and manage Channel Partner communications.
    • Facilitates USPS communications.
    • Triages and prioritizes requests and responses and delegates to appropriate responders.

Qualifications

Additional Job Duties:

  • Sit for prolonged periods of time.
  • Utilize wrist and hands for a prolonged period of time.

  • Stand for short periods.
  • Speaking and conversing with others.
  • Lift up to 25lbs without assistance up.

Education and/or Experience:                                                                  

  • One to Three (1 – 3) years’ experience in a sales operations support role.
  • Previous experience with an e-commerce or SaaS-based company is preferred.

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Self-starter, independent & capable of working on multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong critical thinking skills with a demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve issues.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, productivity, and time management.

Computer/Software/Application Proficiency:                                                   

  • Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Salesforce.com experience is preferred.

Travel Requirements:

  • Less than 10%.
