    The Stamps/Endicia Sales Operations team is seeking a highly motivated and accomplished operations professional to help lead the evolution of our group. This highly visible role requires strong leadership, analytical and critical thinking skills, as well as expertise in operations. The successful candidate will lead the Operations team to deliver sustained growth and will be relentless in creating a culture of winning.

    The Senior Manager, Sales Operations role will be responsible for developing and managing our Sales Operations staff in a fast paced, demanding environment. The keys to success will be driving performance, developing and driving efficiency projects, producing quality work, and ensuring all operations responsibilities are delivered on time. This position reports to the Vice President, Sales.

    Primary Objectives:

    1. Manage sales operations representatives
    2. Provide top-line customer service to prospects, clients and channel partners
    3. Assist Field Sales in a timely fashion on all deals requiring invoicing, forms completed, ELS applications
    4. Build and distribute all channel partner reporting needs
    5. Automate manual sales department tasks
    6. Manage Sales Training Program


    Essential Position Duties (typical monthly, weekly, daily tasks):

    1. Manage sales operations representatives.
      • Monitor and evaluate each team member’s performance to ensure achievement of goals.
      • Conduct daily side-by-side coaching sessions with team members to guide them through sales presentations and maximize sales opportunities.
      • Responsible for administering disciplinary actions according to company guidelines and policies.
      • Conduct regular meetings with team to communicate promotions, procedural, or policy changes.
      • Motivate with recognition and rewards.
      • Manage team member time and attendance tracking.
    2. Provide top-line customer service to prospects, clients and channel partners.
      • Maintain expert-level knowledge on the features and business applications of the company's product lines.
      • Respond to phone and e-mail sales inquiries in a timely, efficient and professional manner.
    3. Assist Field Sales in a timely fashion on all deals requiring invoicing, forms completed, ELS applications.
      • Build and distribute all channel partner reporting needs.
      • Manage the Operations team deliverables, adjust assignments to meet deadlines, ensure backups are trained and SOP’s and workflows are created and updated quarterly for all responsibilities.
    4. Automate manual sales department tasks.
    5. Manage Sales Training Program.
      • Update current training program and own all sales training needs.
      • Create training curriculum and supporting materials.
      • Facilitate team training sessions.
    6. Perform other duties as requested.


    Additional Job Duties:

    • Sit for prolonged periods of time.
    • Utilize wrist and hands for a prolonged period of time.
    • Walk short distances.
    • Stand for short periods.
    • Speaking and conversing with others.
    • Lift up to 25lbs without assistance up.

    Education and/or Experience:                                                                  

    • Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
    • Eight to Ten (8-10) years’ experience in operations; sales operations preferred.
    • Three or more (3+) year’s team management experience.

    Skills and Knowledge:

    • Must have well developed capabilities at problem solving and crafting efficient processes.
    • Strong leadership, conflict management, and composure.
    • Strong planning & organization skills with a self-starter, self-motivating attitude.
    • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and assignments simultaneously.
    • Excellent written & verbal communication and presentation skills.
    • Requires an excellent telephone and personal demeanor.

    Computer/Software/Application Proficiency:                                                   

    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
    • SalesForce experience a plus.

    Travel Requirements:

    • Less than 10% - May have to travel one - two times per year within the domestic U.S.
