    We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Sales & Channel Support Executive. The role works closely with our Field Sales Representatives to progress opportunities through the pipeline, conducts demo’s, and assist with channel partner needs.

    Endicia’s Sales Operations team drives revenue growth and customer acquisition through working with the Field Sales representatives on customer contracts, opportunity pipeline movement, software demo’s and other revenue generating activities. (i.e. outbound calling, forms completion, contract completions and opportunity follow up.)

    Responsibilities

    Primary Objectives:  

    1. Educate future customers on the company’s extensive product offerings.
    2. Assist Field Sales to grow the account base and increase new customer acquisition.
    3. Sales Process Support.
    4. HiVol lead list creation.

     

    Essential Position Duties (typical monthly, weekly, daily tasks)

    1. Educate existing and future customers on the company’s innovative shipping technology solutions.
      • Respond to phone and e-mail sales inquiries in a timely, efficient and professional manner.
      • Performs online demonstrations.
      • Maintain expert-level knowledge on the features and business applications of the company's product line.
    1. Assist Field Sales to grow the account base and increase new customer acquisition.
      • Conducts demo’s as needed, complete all form and contract needs for Field Sales opportunities and work with channel partners.
      • Acquires and evaluates customer operations to aid in identifying customer objectives, requirements and preferences.
      • Develop and maintaining strong working relationships the United States Postal Service Reps and third party channel partners.
    1. Sale Process Support
      • Daily communication with sale force personnel regarding proposals, quotes, order status, and issues pending.
      • Serve as a back-up to the Field Sales Representatives when they are unavailable.
      • Track and update existing orders until product/services are implemented.
    1. Lead List Creation
      • Build lead lists for Field Sales Representatives.
      • Upload lists into Salesforce.com.

    Qualifications

    Experience Qualifications:

    • Minimum of two (2) years’ experience working in an inside sales representative capacity.
    • Experience working with Field Sales teams a plus.

    Skills and Knowledge:

    • Requires the ability to work cooperatively on a team with other sales representatives.
    • Effective listening and presentation skills.
    • Must have exceptional organizational, written, and oral communication skills.
    • Must be able to describe products and match their advantages to customer needs.

    Computer/Software Proficiency:

    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), business information services, and Salesofrce.com.

    Travel Requirements:

    • Less than 10%
