Overview

The Major Account Manager (MAM) works with our top shipping clients to ensure success using Endicia products. The role is responsible for revenue growth within a specified portfolio of managed accounts, customer satisfaction, and distribution of product updates. The MAM will also work directly with personnel from the United States Postal Service, internal product marketing, engineering, other channel partners, and personnel across the organization to ensure client satisfaction and retention. 

 

The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, customer service driven, and possess excellent communication and negotiation skills to effectively interact with C-level executives, channel partner personnel, and be a contributing member of the Endicia Sales team.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties:

  • Conduct quarterly QBR’s with assigned managed accounts
  • Provide client satisfaction follow-up status to executive management on a weekly basis
  • Prepare an annual plan for each assigned managed account to grow USPS volume
  • Be a product expert by being able to easily understand the value in new products/features and be able to sell said value to assigned accounts
  • Reduce managed account churn
  • Annually increase portfolio revenue
  • Be an industry adviser

Qualifications

 Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree is preferred. 
  • At least four (4) years Field Sales experience required and 
  • Minimum of two (2) years relationship management experience
  • A validate drivers licence

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven negotiation and closing skills
  • Strong professional presence; comfortable working with C-level
  • Strong customer relationship management skills
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Ability to demonstarte crtical thinking and be a strategic problem solver

 Computer/Software/Application Proficiency:                    

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Salesforce, Link Point, and or Cadence experience a plus

Travel Requirements:

  • 50% travel required
